Good Morning!

It is feeling more like fall on this frigid morning! Pudge was up before 7am and wanted to be fed and it was below 50 outside. Drinking coffee in bed on these cold morning is the best!

Yesterday I was doing a little shopping on my lunch and I came across these tea cup measuring cups at anthropologie. They were $36 dollar which I thought was a little expensive for measuring cups, but still they are really cute!

The other night we went to a new Shabu Shabu place for dinner. We have been to two different ones before, but never the one that is closest to our house. So we decided to have a date night and give it a try! It was really good and we will definitely go back to this place!

If you have never gone to a Shabu Shabu restaurant before you are given a plate of raw meat to cook in a hot pot full of boiling water. After the meat is cooked you are given 2 different sauces to dip the meat into. You can customize the sauces by adding green onion, garlic, and hot sauce to make it how you want. It is served with rice that you can add the same sauces too, and vegetables that you can also cook in the water. After you have finished the meat you can add noodles to the water and make a soup out of the left over vegetables and the beef broth that you have created.
