Rain, Waffles, and Christmas Lights

Yesterday morning was cold and rainy and was the perfect morning for apple cinnamon waffles! I bought this waffle mix a couple of weeks ago when we visited Oak Glen. Oak Glen is a cute little mountain town that is not to far from here. It has lots of little shops to buy things and apple farms to pick your own apples. The mix makes really good waffle, they were light and fluffy The apple cinnamon was just the right amount too, and the little pieces of apple in them are delicious.

With it being so cold yesterday it was the perfect day to stay inside and.......get out the Christmas Lights! No we didn't hang them up, although if it wasn't raining it may have happened. We really just wanted to get them out to see what we had, and to make sure everything was still working. We learned last year if you do not buy Christmas Lights early they get all picked over! With a few purchase we have everything we need.
